Förbittring emerged out of hardcore punk band Generation 84 in 2020, as it had reached the end of its
creative cycle and this brought a breath of air to the band and its members, rekindling a fire that was
deemed to be lost. Guitarist Wesley Vanmal and singer Teun Van Aerschot tossed some musical ideas
back and forth, which quickly resulted into a framework of ten metallic hardcore punk songs with a
Scandinavian twist.
